Learn traditional home made cooking with MAMMA MELINA! meal at an hands on cooking class in Giardini Naxos beside Taormina. Learn about authentic Sicilian cuisine as you prepare your own lunch or dinner. Cook a refined menu of local home made specialties and enjoy your meal! Learn to cook like a Sicilian in a typical house and get hands-on help preparing your own lunch or dinner from a friendly Mamma.

After agree on the meeting (free hotel pick-up) Mamma Melina welcome you at her house, she will invite you to shopping on the local market to buy the first primary ingredients you need to prepare your dishes. fresh local fishes and vegetables extra virgin olive oil.

Prepare a typical 4 course meal (appetizer, main course, 2nd course, and dessert) of dishes based on the seafood Sicilian tradition such as anchovies at beccafico style (sandwich) and marinated in lemon juice and olive oil, home made maccheroni pasta with fried eggplant , swordfish alla “gghiotta” with capers and fresh tomato, the Tiramisu sweet and dont forget to ask Mamma Melina the secret on how to make a great taste Lemoncello! A Sicilian tradictional lemon liqueur.

A Certificate of Participation as souvenir will be release at the end of the Class!
